This year marks our 20th anniversary, honoring two decades of bringing neighbors, families, and local organizations together in celebration of the vibrant spirit of our community. Hosted in partnership by the City of North Chicago, North Chicago Community Unit School District 187, and the Foss Park District, Community Days showcases the people, culture, and partnerships that make North Chicago special. Through live entertainment, family activities, food, and community engagement, the festival continues its mission of strengthening relationships and fostering a shared sense of belonging for all who call North Chicago home.

HISTORY
North Chicago’s history is as rich and resilient as the community itself. Through generations of change, the city has grown stronger, guided by the determination and pride of its people. Many families are now in their third and fourth generations here deeply rooted residents whose stories continue to shape North Chicago’s bright and promising future.
